Hubspot

Calling Guru supports any Hubspot account. 

When you create a campaign from companies in Hubspot, Calling Guru will sync new meetings to the calendar of the CRM and save the notes from each call. 

1. Connect to Hubspot

These steps are done in the Customer Zone. So, as a customer, you can do them yourself. Or as an admin, navigate to the Customer Zone first.
  • Click on Connections
  • Click on Hubspot
  • Click on Create Connection
  • Login to Hubspot. If you have multiple accounts, choose the account to connect with
  • Done

You will be presented with a settings screen where you can finetune the connection.

2. Import Companies to call

These steps are done in the Customer Zone. So, as a customer, you can do them yourself. Or as an admin, navigate to the Customer Zone first.

Typically, you will import a list in Hubspot with a dedicated property, for example “Calling Campaign”, with a specific value like “Summer 22”.

  • Click Create new campaign
  • Select From my CRM
  • Create your campaign like you normally would
  • Type the property and its value that corresponds to the companies you want to import.

For example

  • Click Import
  • Save the new campaign
  • Done

3. Can I do more complex imports?

Yes you can. If you wish to make a selection from your CRM, it’s best to make that selection in the CRM and assign a property to it.

Let’s see how that works. Please remember, these are steps within Hubspot and for novice Hubspot users this may look like a bridge too far – however it only takes 3 minutes and it becomes easier if you’ve done it a few times ;-).

First, create a property, let’s call it “Calling Campaign”.

Go to “Edit properties” within Companies

Create the property -this can be a single-line text.

Bulk select the visible companies and then click on “select all xxx companies”.

Almost there: choose a property value like “Summer 22” and you’re ready to import.

Well done! Now you can import the Companies.
